El Taj Ocean is located both on the white, sandy beach and in the heart of the Premier Zone of Playa that offers the convenience of having the best restaurants, nightlife and shopping within one block from the condo.  There is a combination of 1, 2, and 3 Bedroom condo’s as well as 2 and 3 bedroom penthouse units.  Penthouses have private rooftops with a jacuzzi, gas grill, lounge furniture and terrific views of the Gulf.  Some 2 Bedroom units also have private jacuzzis on the balcony.  Every unit has a view of the water.  El Taj Ocean has its own beach club and restaurant, Indigo Beach Club, with outstanding food and reasonable prices.

All guests receive daily maid service, complimentary beach chairs at Indigo Beach Club and complimentary use of The Gym, located 1.5 blocks away at our sister property, Porto Playa.  Guests of El Taj Ocean can use the ocean pool or a quieter pool in El Taj Beach, located across a 1 lane street.

Playa del Carmen is very European and El Taj Ocean is located in the best part of Playa.  There’s no need for a car or taxi, you can walk everywhere.
