Great condos with lots of options to meet any family needs. It is very convenient to have kitchen even though we would still end up having breakfast at the Beach Club nearby. The location is amazing, literally 1 minute away from the busy touristy area of 5th avenue. The location could not be more perfect.

We loved the service and we loved the interiors of the condos. Creative architecture, lots of plants and flowers around and little ponds to look at.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the El Taj Oceanfront and it was amazing! All of the hotel staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They were on top of everything and create an extremely relaxing and enjoyable experience. The unit itself is beautiful and offers amazing ocean views, fully furnished condo, exceptionally clean, and is only steps away from the infinity pool. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy Playa Del Carmen.

On a recent trip to Playa Del Carmen, I stayed at El Taj Ocean. The one bedroom (341)I stayed in was wonderful. It was a one bedroom condo closest to the beach, and the only one to have views from all the rooms. There is a large private balcony off the master bedroom, as well as a terrace off the kitchen and living room. I loved sitting out on the terrace, and enjoyed the great breeze and sound of waves crashing ashore. Indigo Beach Club, located at El Taj Ocean, is beautiful and the locals are some of the most friendly people I have ever met. The breakfast at Indigo Beach Club is wonderful and the property is always clean. El Taj Ocean offers many different types of exercise options, such as yoga on the beach and water aerobics, or you can use The Gym located at Porto Playa. The owner of this unit has thought of everything, including personal touches that make you feel at home. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for an excellent one bedroom property at El Taj Ocean.

Dinner last night was increible! We went to yaxchen, the Mayan place that the hotel recommends and has the discount with. The staff was unbelievably friendly and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal or romantic environment. We went to the one north of constitution and it was very quiet. Great drinks and it was supposedly traditional Mayan cuisine. Either way, muy bueno!

On Tuesday we had the best food I’ve ever had!! It’s called Las Pescadillas and it’s a couple of blocks ups Constituyentes. Unbelievable meats and very inexpensive. Great margaritas and the staff was really friendly. Recommend it to anyone looking for good Mexican or who want to get away from 5th

Hi, Oh my gosh, what a treat this has been for us. El Taj is incredible. Nick and I are having a wonderful time. We spent the first few days just lounging around the oceanside pool, the AWESOME garden pool, and of course the beach chairs. (Una mas pinacolada por favor.)A few days ago we took the collectivo and ventured to Akumal where wewe’re able to rent snorkel gear and swim with the sea turtles. They were so peaceful. We also floated over coral, admiring all the brighttropical fish.Today we hiked around Tulum. I’ve seen a lot of Mayan ruins during mytravels through Central America but none of them had surroundings as impressive as Tulum. Tomorrow we’re heading to the cenotes for more snorkeling, as well as exploring the underwater caves. Thank you so much for all of your help!!!!!

Everything was beyond perfect! We absolutely feel in love with Playa and El Taj. We had great weather and truly appreciated your help and input as we almost rescheduled due to what we saw on weather.com. I would love to write a review and if you ever come across travelers/honeymooners that obviously want to make sure their trip meets their expectations, I would be more than happy to talk to them live. That’s how impressed I was!

FYI- the transpiration company you recommended was great!! They waited for us, almost for an hour, our flight arrived late. They were also on time for our pick up at 3:20 am.
